Happy New Year to all my friends and family around the globe!
2014 is certain to be a very special year ahead for all us. How do I know that? It’s all in the numbers. I was first introduced to numerology many years ago by Nancy Strickland, my mediumship teacher and mentor, and have been fascinated by the accuracy of the predictions and analysis of events, from the micro personal to the macro global.
When I sat down tonight to write a quick post before heading to First Night Boston, I added up the numbers of the year ahead and for the first time realized that 2014 is a “seven year” (add up the digits in 2014, as in 2+0+1+4 = 7) Wonderful!
Seven is a highly spiritual number and has played a role in most major religions and belief systems around the world for thousands of years. Now, I’m admittedly a numerology novice, so I sought the expert analysis, and they didn’t disappoint. Let me share with you, what I found on USA Today:
According to numerologist Marcy Heller, 2014 is a “seven year” and will be a year of introspection. “Seven is the most sacred and spiritual number,” she said. “This number is calling for us to go within as opposed to keep looking for things in the outside world to make us happy.” She added that many of us will “shake off our materialistic ways.”
Dan Hardt, president of the Life Path Numerology Center in Indianapolis, also described 2014 as a year of “looking into our inner selves.” You can read more about his predictions for the US as a whole in the same article.
I don’t know about you, but as I reflect on where I am in my life right now…it makes perfect sense. I’m presently selling my house of 12 years and more than half of my worldly possessions, and in the matter of weeks, heading into a life with a very fuzzy outline beyond the next few months.
The North Shore of Massachusetts has been my true spiritual home for over a decade. It’s where I was introduced to those who would be my teachers and where I honed my abilities as a medium. It’s been a time of study, learning, practice, and deep personal and spiritual development. And now, after some prodding from the Universe, it appears to be time to take my learning and my gift as a medium, hypnotherapist and teacher on the road, literally!
As one of my former teachers, Rev. Leo Rogers, likes to say, “Just follow the energy.” And that, my friends is what I’ll be doing in 2014: reflecting on my life, following the energy to my next home, and sharing all I can with those who seek me out.
My wish for you all is this: a year of easy introspection, guiding insights, and positive steps in your own personal journey. And may the love of friends, family and Spirit light your way.
With love and light,
~Renee
PS: I will be moving to Minnesota and in transit from Jan. 21-February 2nd. If you contact me for a reading, I’ll do my best to get back to you in a timely fashion, but bear with me!
MN?! You are supposed to be coming to NM! 🙂 I hope MN is just a dyslexic pit stop!
