Begins: 3pm Wednesday, May 22, 2024
Ends: 1pm Sunday, May 26th, 2024

Venue: the House of Prayer Retreat Center at St. John’s University in St. Joseph, MN (90 minutes northeast of Minneapolis). Nestled in a quiet forest setting, the energy is light and open, the accommodations basic, but comfortable and modern. There’s a virtual tour of the space here. Most meals will be catered by St. John’s catering and dietary restrictions can be addressed.

What you’ll learn:

  1. How to prepare yourself physically, mentally and emotionally for the work of a medium.
  2. How we are energetically connected to others and to Spirit.
  3. How to open and close your energy body safely.
  4. How to distinguish between self-talk and Spirit communication.
  5. How to develop or “unfold” your innate psychic and mediumistic abilities and to bring messages from Spirit.

What you’ll experience:

  1. Short lectures on mediumship basics.
  2. Workshop-style exercises exploring physical body energy systems and psychic abilities.
  3. Learning to employ a step-by-step evidential mediumship foundation.
  4. Practicing One-on-One partner readings.
  5. Sitting in Development Circles (practice bringing Spirit messages to circle participants).
  6. Deep meditations and Soul Journeys through Regression Hypnosis – an exploration of your Soul Self and Life Goals.

Your personal commitment: in addition to lectures, workshop-style classes, and development circles, you will have reading homework (30-40 minutes) and an experiential assignment each day. As in all studies, good preparation and diving deeply into the work will translate into more rapid development of your psychic and mediumistic abilities. Trust me, it will be worth it!

It’s not just a retreat, it’s a beginning

Continuity of training with respect to mediumship is key to the development of mediumistic abilities. Following on from the retreat, for those interested in continuing to develop and unfold their abilities, will be development circles and classes via Zoom several times a month (for a minimal fee.)

Every 6 months there will be the opportunity to come together again in person to regroup, refresh, and take your development and spiritual unfoldment to a new level.  New people will be joining in these retreats. Also, a full-week retreat in Tuscany/Italy is being planned for summer 2024.

Retreat cost per person including program, room and meals:*

Single room/shared bath: $1100
Double room/shared bath: $995

*Transportation to/from retreat center is not included; door-to-door shuttle via Groome Transportation from Minneapolis/St. Paul Int’l Airport is available.

Payment Policy

  • The full retreat fee is due at the time of registration. Your space in the retreat is not reserved until payment is received. An email with payment information will be sent to you after receipt of your registration.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • If you cancel your retreat reservation more than three weeks before the start of the retreat, Whispers will refund your payment, minus a $50 cancellation fee to cover admin costs.
  • If you cancel your retreat reservation with 2-3 weeks’ notice, Whispers will issue a refund of 50% of your payment.
  • If you cancel your retreat reservation with less than a one-week notice, no refund will be issued. We may be able to make an exception to this policy if your reserved space in the retreat is filled. We will review these situations on a case-by-case basis.
  • If Whispers needs to cancel the retreat for any reason, we will issue a full refund.
