RENEE MARIE BUCK
I grew up in a large loving family in southern Minnesota. Until I was 17, I had never lived in a town larger than 13,000 people.
In 1971, when I was 12, a tragic event occurred that changed me forever. My older brother Merle died following a freakish accident on the highway near our home. He had just turned 14. It was my first experience with death and it affected me deeply. Merle was my best friend, my confidante, my childhood mentor in the game of life.
A year later, the life of my older sister Susie was taken in a head-on collision with a drunk driver. She was just 18 years old, the high school homecoming queen, and lovely inside and out.
Those two events signaled the beginning of a lifelong quest to answer questions around issues of life and death, of our purpose on Earth. Were these just accidents? Or was it “God’s will” or “God’s plan,” as so many well-meaning friends and family claimed in heartfelt attempts to comfort?
“Exactly why did He need his children?” I wanted to know. “And why can’t God–whoever He is–just enjoy them from here?” And so went my questions…
Since those early years, I have traveled the world in a range of capacities and careers, ever broadening my spiritual knowledge and understanding as I navigated the material world. My quest to understand the relationship between a mysterious pre-destiny and our powerful free will led me into an exploration of religious foundations and teachings of religious Masters around the world. Gradually, a more universal understanding of life, death and human purpose began to evolve, and as it did, my own spiritual development began to unfold. There’s a saying, “When the student is ready, the teacher appears,” and for me it was, and is, always the case. I’m deeply thankful for all the teachers–here and in the world of Spirit–who have been there for me when I was ready. And now, I am ready to be there for you, when you are ready.

I presently reside in Minnetonka, Minnesota (as of July 2021) after almost seven years in Hollywood offering readings and pursuing my other passion: screenwriting and TV writing.
